Low Vision Aids
Some patients have vision that is below normal and not correctable by conventional spectacles or contact lenses. These patients can sometimes benefit from the use of specialist devices which can help improve their vision. These can be simple magnifiers or more complex electronic devices and can often make dramatic changes to the patients quality of life. Patients with macular degeneration, advanced glaucoma or cataracts often require these devices for day to day tasks such as reading or watching TV.
Patrick Moore completed a specialist course of study in this area in 2008 and graduated with an Honours Diploma in Low Visual Acuity and has since successfully provided low vision aids to many patients.
If you or a family member think you would benefit by using these devices then please contact us for an appointment.
