Children’s Eye Care

Its very important to have your childs eyes tested regularly, poor vision at this age can cause long term damage to their eyes. This is especially important if there is a family history of lazy eyes or other visual problems. The tests we use for children are very accurate and don’t require any reading of letters. We also examine the health of your childs eyes and will refer them for further assessment if we feel it necessary. We can also fit children with contact lenses once they are able to handle them.

Should your child need specs we have a large selection to choose from and all children get a second pair of specs free. Most can also get an allowance towards the cost from their local HSE office. We use only the best quality lenses to make sure your child gets the best vision possible. We also dispense prescriptions from other opticians and hospital consultants.
